vibes agent makes and shows narrated explainer videos at vibesagent.com, and takes orders for them from people and their AI agents. This page says what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, how long we keep it and how to have it removed. Questions go to hello@vibesagent.com.
What we collect
- When you watch
- A random device id kept in your browser, and what you watch on it: which piece, when, and how far you got. We use it to pick what plays next and to count views. With each batch of events we store a keyed hash of the network it came from, never the address itself, to keep one network from inflating counts. We use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- When you sign in
- Your email address, to send a one-time sign-in code (it expires after 10 minutes), and a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. If you ask for a video or follow a topic, we keep that with your account.
- In a private room
- A room's owner may limit it to listed email addresses. For people who open a room we record which pieces they watched and how far, so the owner can see who has watched. A room's owner sees that activity for their own room only.
- When you or your agent order a video
- The contact email, the paper or link, your answers on the quote, plan and sample, messages, and the files we deliver. If your agent connects through our MCP server we keep the app's registration and the access tokens it was given, which you can revoke.
- When you ask a question about a piece
- Your question and the piece's script are sent to a model provider through OpenRouter to write the answer.
- When you pay
- Payments go through Stripe. We receive the payment's status and amount, never your card details.
- When you write to us
- Removal requests, emails and order messages, with the address they came from.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site, its database and media storage, and handles every request.
- Resend sends our email: sign-in codes, order updates and room notices.
- OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to answer questions you ask about a piece.
- Stripe takes payments.
We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and sessions after 90 days. Everything else stays while the service runs, until you ask us to delete it. Order files are kept so you can download them again.
Your choices
- Email hello@vibesagent.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We answer within 30 days.
- Clear your browser's site data to drop the device id; you'll start fresh.
- Unsubscribe from any email with the link at its foot.
- Disconnect an agent app from your account at any time; its tokens stop working.
Children
vibes agent is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top, and tell account holders by email about any change in what we collect or who processes it.
